Outdoor London

New Year's Day was somewhat frustrating. Being a Saturday and a holiday, almost nothing was open. So, we slept late, then walked the glass strewn steets and explored.

One of our main expeditions was to the Tower of London, which was unfortunately closed. We got to go inside a few days later. But from the Tower we hopped on a Thames tour boat and road up to Parliament. On the trip, we took a bunch of interesting pictures.

Later in the day, we visited the West End. The West End is the theatre and tourist district. One of the major landmarks is Picadilly Circus:
